As you might know from previous post, I have been working with Daniel Columbie on his new film, 5th Of A Degree.  Today's scene took place in a gritty dirty warehouse in the city of Miami.  Since everyone was deep in character and the ambiance was intense, I decided that instead of doing behind the scene photos, I would take this opportunity to shoot some character portraits of the actors. Here is one of my favorite ones of the day.  This is Alton Clayton. A great guy with a killer look.

Nick Simmons. Again great actor, great look.

Carlos Guerrero. Man can this guy act. Simply amazing.

This next guy we all know and love. None other than Dave Danello.  Just look at the intensity on his face. Awesome.

Lorenzo Toledo. Genuine guy. Great Actor!

This is a cool group portrait that we managed to do before they began filming.

I met Daniel about a year ago during another project that we were both working on. Ever since, we’ve kept in touch, waiting for the opportunity to work together again.  Daniel is a very very  talented film maker. Even though he is young, he has a great eye and produces an amazing product.

David Danello came by today with a fun idea. You see, David got casted to play a role in a really cool WWII movie called USS SEAVIPER , that is being shot in Alabama and Miami. David will be playing a crew member on the submarine. Anyways, you can click on the link and see a trailer of the movie.

David wanted to create some images that would get him hyped up for the movie (not that he really needs it, all he does is talk about it!). Bellow are some samples of ideas we came up with.
