How I love animals.. All animals, especially dogs. So when I received a call from Melissa Dibble, a volunteer from Project Pet to assist her in photographing one of the doggies from the shelter in order to create and ad that is going to run in Ocean Drive Magazine, I could not resist. I met Melissa at the shelter early in the morning. First, she gave me a tour of the place, where I got to meet many of the very cute, yet homeless dogs that live in the shelter.
This shelter runs strictly from donations. It has been opened for more than a decade and everything from the land to its food has or is donated by generous people.
So, Melissa had this one dog in mind that would capture the essence, pain and overall feel of the shelter with his look. After looking at him, we decided he definitely has the "look" to be a star! He was such a good boy and patiently sat there while we took a number of pictures of him. This is the final image we selected for the ad. I am not sure when its coming out but keep an eye out for it.
