This would fall under the category that good people attract good people. See, Mike is a good friend of Brian Larrabee, who is just about the nicest guy you can ever meet. I have been working with Brian for a number of years (you can find him on previous post), however, due to his move to LA we had not seen or worked with each other for a while. Today, Brian flew in from LA (to work on a play and to get new head shots) and brought Mike over to the studio. Mike told me about this character shot he has been wanting to do. I really liked the idea and thought Mike had the perfect look for it. Before getting gritty, we decided to start of with a clean head shot.

Mike has such a great look. For the character shot we decided to make things darker, add some color and a lot more attitude. Love the way the shots turned out. Is it me or can you see a young Al Pacino :) ?

We are planning another shoot in the future. Can anyone say "Scarface"? I will keep you posted. BTW you can see Mike on Tony's and Tina's wedding. Thanks Mike! Equipment Used: Camera: Nikon D3 Lighting: Softboxes, beauty dish, Tri - Flector, Color Gels Location: Studio, Miami Studio: Nisso Studios
