After weeks and weeks of planning and trying to get everyones schedule together, the day finally came. Today I had to opportunity to shoot with a legend in this crazy business. I met Paul Palmero through Chanel Hart a few months ago. Since then, I've had the pleasure of working with him a few times on different jobs. Paul is an encyclopedia of knowledge and an atomic bomb of energy. Anyways, today we worked on Chanels book (lifestyle, fashion and head shots) as well as her husbands, Ford D'Aprix. They are both highly experienced models / actors that have been in the business a long time. Besides all of their experience, they are both super nice people and a pleasure to work with. Their hair and makeup was done by makeup artist Laura Bissessar.
First we headed out to the park. The images were shot with a Nikon D3 in natural light.

These next shots we did on location. These two shots were shot using a Nikon D3 with a medium size soft box.

Tired of being Miss Goody Two Shoes, these next few images show Chanels ability to play different roles. Its really an amazing transformation! With so many looks and personalities, no wonder she is one of the best bookers in South Florida!

These shots were taken with a Nikon D3 with a single light source with a 40 degree honeycomb grid.

Next came her husband Ford. Man what a great guy he is. He was so easy going that it made my job a none event. Let me tell you, as hard as I tried, i could not get a bad picture from this guy!! Ford was just looking for some new head shots, we did a few diferent looks, however this one is one of my favorites! This was also shot with a Nikon D3 with a single light source with a 40 degree honeycomb grid.

I want to say a million thanks to Paul, Laura, Chanel and Ford! I had an great time and as always I learned something new from the great Paul Palmero!
